Beverly Ann Blazer's Obituary
Decatur-Beverly Ann (Eversole) Blazer, 74, of Decatur, passed away at 1:06 p.m. Thursday, September 03, 2009 at Decatur Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Services to celebrate Beverly’s life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at First Freewill Baptist Church, 2709 N. 27th, with Pastor Tyler Penn officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Interment with Flight Home Ceremony will be at Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church or the National Parkinson Foundation. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Beverly was born April 23, 1935 in Hillsboro the daughter of Oral and Lena (Harris) Scribner. She was a homemaker and member of First Freewill Baptist Church. She married Donald Eversole on September 23, 1951 later they divorced. She then married Lawrence Blazer on May 3, 1980. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1989.
She leaves behind her daughter; Donna Stephenson and husband Michael of Decatur, sons; Michael Eversole and wife Cynthia of Decatur and Rodney Eversole of Dyer Tennessee, daughter-in-law; Anita Eversole of Plano, Illinois, brother; Ronald Scribner of Assumption, grandchildren; Tonya Younce, Leslie Lenhardt, Jared Stephenson, Jason Abels, Joe Abels, Jasmine Eversole, and Zackery Eversole, and great-grandchildren; Sadie and Sophie Younce and Gabby, Logan, Matthew, and Trinity Lenhardt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; David Eversole, and brothers; Joe Scribner and Ralph Scribner.
