Beverly Folk's Obituary
Decatur-Beverly Folk, 79, of Decatur, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 in Hickory Point Christian Village.
Beverly was born July 16, 1934 in East Peoria, IL, the daughter of Daniel J. Morey and Martha I. Wells. She owned several Best Western Motels in Childress, Texas for many years.
Beverly leaves behind her daughter Sharon (Glenn) Harris of Decatur; sister Betty Ahlers of Clinton, IL; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, and four beloved cats Jimmy, Joey, Abby, and Bobby .
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Morey .
Special thanks to Doctor Roberto Pabalate, and the wonderful staff at Hickory Point Christian Village for the care they provided for Beverly.
Cremation will take place at Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. Memorials in memory of Beverly may be directed to Humane Society.
