Beverly J. Weeks, 76, of Decatur passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 in McKinley Court Nursing Home.
Beverly was born on May 25, 1940 in Decatur the daughter of Darrell and Sarah (Taylor) Bagley. She was a member of Argenta Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, crafting, and spending time with her family. She married Charles Weeks on April 20, 1973 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2015.
Surviving are her son Gary Staggs, daughter Debra Chandler, step-son Gary Weeks (Jeannie), step-mother Shirley Bagley, grandchildren Rick Chandler, Jady Chandler, and Sarah Spence (Jim), 4 step-grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren all of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, Darrell Bagley and Sarah Blankenship.
Funeral service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be 11 AM Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Argenta Baptist Church. The family requests casual attire.
