Bonnie Louise Ammann's Obituary
Bonnie Louise Ammann, 71, passed away on October 28, 2022, in Decatur, IL.
Bonnie was born to Dean and June Stivers on April 22, 1951, in Decatur, IL. Bonnie married Robert Vernon Ammann on November 20, 1971, at the Mound Chapel Church of God in Decatur, IL. Bonnie was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. She loved to help people. If you needed something, she was right there to help. She liked to participate in Operation Christian Child at Christmas time. She also enjoyed painting, sewing and going to the thrift shops.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Robert Ammann, daughter, Sherry (Shane) Strocher; brothers, Wayne Stivers, Paul (Gail) Stivers;sister, Esther (Mark) Krein; brothers -in-law, John Potter, Lavern (Elizabeth) Downen, Jim Sater; sister-in-law, Cheryl Stivers; grandson, Sage Michael Strocher, and many extended family and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Crystal Lynn Ammann; siblings, Fred Stivers, Sandy Potter, Joyce Downen; sister-in-laws, Candy Stivers, Tam Stivers.
Services will be held on November 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church, A visitation will be held on November 3, 2022, from 12:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church. The family requests that people wear purple, if possible, in reference to dementia and her favorite color.
