Bonnie Marie Booker's Obituary
Bonnie Marie Booker, 76, of Decatur, IL, died May 15, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
Bonnie was born March 8, 1942 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Chesterfield and Eathel (Qualls) Norman.
Bonnie worked as a caseworker for Decatur Township. She was a volunteer with the DMH Auxiliary and a volunteer with the Decatur Senior Center.
During her leisure time, Bonnie would enjoy playing Bingo and traveling on bus trips to casinos with friends.
Surviving are her son, Jay Booker of Decatur, IL; daughters, Cindy Braden (Jan) of Sullivan, IL, Margaret Brunn (Michael) of Lecanto, FL; sister, Bessie Rudolph (Bob) of Decatur, IL; four grandchildren, Katy Black, Andrew Perry, Craig Black, Michael Brunn and one great granddaughter, Kira Brunn.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Thursday, May 17, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
