Bonnie Pulliam's Obituary
Bonnie C. Pulliam, 63, of Forsyth, passed away Thursday, February 04, 2016, in her home with her family by her side.
Bonnie was born August 4, 1952, in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Cecil and Ruth (Laws) Robertson. Bonnie loved being in the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and collecting rocks. Bonnie was an accomplished horticulturist who at one time planted all the flower gardens in Forsyth. In her spare time, she also liked going to antique stores with Vicki Edgecombe and collected dolls. The most important thing to Bonnie is she loved spending quality time with her family and grandchildren. Bonnie married Dennis Pulliam on August 19, 1974, at Maroa Christian Church in Maroa, IL. They shared 41 wonderful years together.
Bonnie leaves behind her husband, Dennis; sons, Clinton Pulliam and his wife Deborah of rural Mt. Auburn, IL; Adam Pulliam and his wife Tracy of rural Mt. Pulaski; sister, Vicki Edgecombe and her husband Jay of rural Oreana, IL; and grandchildren, Evan, Isaac, Ava, Owen.
She is preceded in death by her parents; niece, Rachel; and great-nephew, Benjamin.
A memorial service to celebrate Bonnie’s life will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2016, at the funeral home. Memorials in memory of Bonnie may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Mario Velasco, the staff at the Cancer Care Specialists of IL, and infusion nurses Karen, Kim, and Rachel for all their kindness and care.
