Bonnie Jean Taylor's Obituary
Decatur — Bonnie Jean Taylor, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Decatur, IL. Born on April 20, 1952, the daughter of Ted Stephen and Beverly Jean (Calhoun) Taylor.
Bonnie was an avid bowler and participant in the Special Olympics. She loved country music, playing cards, and puzzle books. She was a Cardinals superfan who loved rooting on her team.
Bonnie is survived by her brother, Don Nardi Taylor of Bloomington, IL and niece and best friend, Julia Bechtel.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Sally, Barbara, and David Taylor.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Committal services will take place at Fairlawn Cemetery.
