Brandie L. Mendoza, 39, of Lovington, IL passed away May 24, 2020 at her residence.
Brandie was born April 4, 1981, in Normal, IL, the daughter of Cathleen (Watzke) and Bruce Thompson. She married Juan Mendoza on December 9, 2015 in Sullivan, IL.
Brandie was a homemaker in her own home. She also served as a housekeeper for Mason Point.
Brandie was known to be the babysitter of the neighborhood. She was a wonderful cook, awesome daughter, aunt and sister. She will forever be remembered as a free spirit.
Surviving are her husband, Juan; mother, Cathleen and her husband Robert Dayton, father, Bruce Thompson; children, Adam Hernandez of Chicago, IL, Dalilah Mendoza of Lovington, IL, Norma Mendoza of Lovington, IL, Zoey Mendoza of Lovington, IL; maternal grandparents, Carol and Dan Brower of MI and Philip and Gloria Watzke of Chicago, IL; sisters, Bridgette Thompson of Chicago, IL, Brooke Thompson of Chicago, IL, Briana Nicholas of Arthur, IL and step-sister, Erica Moreno of Chicago, IL.
Private funeral services will be held at Keller Cemetery in Lovington, IL.
