Briana Lynn Singh's Obituary
Briana Lynn (“Bri Bri”) Singh, 13, of Decatur, passed away after a long battle with Alexander’s Disease on March 30, 2022 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
Briana was born at Camp Pendleton, California on May 12, 2008, the daughter of Stephanie (Schwanderlik) Singh. She was a member of Forsyth Baptist Church, where she brought joy to many through her singing, participation in Children’s Church, and other activities.
Briana is survived by her mother Stephanie of Decatur; siblings Apryl Singh and Jorden Dawson; grandmother Roberta Schwanderlik; cousins Ariana Schwanderlik and Journey Strong; and aunt Rebecca Schwanderlik. She was preceded in death by her great-aunt Dorothy McCue and great-grandparents Judy McCue, Robert McCue, and Carl Schwanderlik.
Funeral services for Briana will be held at Forsyth Baptist Church on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Visitation will be from 4pm to 6pm, followed by a funeral service at 6pm. Memorials may be directed to Alexander’s Disease Research. Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home will provide cremation services at a later date.
