Brielle Maulberger's Obituary
Brielle Renae Nichole Maulberger, 28, of Decatur passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Brielle was born on November 7, 1987 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Steve and Leeanne (Schrader) Maulberger. She was a free spirit and an avid outdoors person. She loved hiking and camping especially with her son. She loved the theatre, music, cooking, movies, and particularly the Mad Men television series, among other forms of art. She also enjoyed writing poetry, short stories and was working on several novels. She worked for Dohrn Trucking and attended Richland Community College.
Surviving are her son, Joshua Wayne Maulberger of Decatur; mother, Leeanne Delock (David) of Decatur; father, Steve Maulberger (Luz A. Catalan) of Decatur; brother, Brockton S. Maulberger (Goran Vidovic) sisters, Brenda S. Maulberger; Olivia L. Maulberger; Luciana D. Maulberger; Sara I. Maulberger; grandparents, Beverly and Jim Schrader of Sullivan; Homer Maulberger of Florida; Brockway family of Ohio; Alan Maulberger family, Pam Maulberger family, and Karl Kempe Family.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy Maulberger, her aunt Brenda Schader, and cousin, Stephen Brockway.
Service to celebrate Brielle’s life will be 3 PM Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1-3 PM Saturday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Joshua W. Maulberger Education Fund c/o of Land of Lincoln Credit Union.
