Bruce Anthony Dulgar's Obituary
Bruce Anthony Dulgar Sr., 70, passed away November 6, 2021 in Decatur, IL.
Bruce was born to Ovie and Deloris Dulgar, October 9, 1951, in Decatur IL. He married Doris Ann Bufford on October 22, 1976 in Decatur, IL. Bruce lived for racing. He competed in the Bombers, Street Stock, Sportsman, Modified and Hornet Divisions. He raced at the Macon, Farmer City, Pana, Brownstown, Kamp, Springfield Mile, Springfield Speedway and the Macon County Fairgrounds racetracks. He got the Long Time Dedication award for his 54 years of commitment to the Macon Speedway.
Bruce is survived by his wife Doris Dulgar; sons Bruce (Rachel) Dulgar Jr. And Steven Dulgar; brother, Lonnie Dulgar; sister Sandra Dulgar; grandchildren, Blake Dulgar, Cody Altevogt, Bryce Dulgar, and many extended family and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to Macon Speedway, Track Enterprises Staff and Bob Sargent.
A visitation will be held Saturday November 13, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home.
