Bryan K. DeBrun's Obituary
Bryan K. DeBrun, 53, of Forsyth, IL went home to be with his Lord on August 10, 2021 at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IL.
Bryan was born on December 11, 1967 in Springfield, IL the son of Michael and Debbie (Schneider) DeBrun. Bryan is survived by his father: Michael (Carol) DeBrun of Cleveland, TN; mother: Debbie Schneider of Crawfordsville, IN; son: Tyler DeBrun of Forsyth, IL; good friend: Lorie Major; brother: Jeremy Sarver of West Liberty, OH; sisters: Kristina Cronin (Matt Ripatti) of Norfolk, VA; Michelle (Quincy) Calloway of Kansas City, MO; his beloved dog Louis and his cat Dots. Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Bryan was a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a degree in Computer Science. He was employed by Crop Risk Services, an AIG company, as a data base administrator. Bryan was a US Navy Veteran, having served during the Iraq War.
Bryan loved to grill, and was often referred to as the Grill Master. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his son Tyler. He loved basketball, and loved to watch it, especially during the NCAA Final Four. He was a huge Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals, and Illinois Fighting Illini Fan.
The family would like to thank the ICU nurses at Decatur Memorial Hospital for their incredible care.
Services to celebrate Bryan’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday (August 14, 2021) at Resurrection Life Church, Decatur, with visitation being held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday at the church. Bryan will be laid to rest at Macon County Memorial Park in Harristown, with military honors.
