Bryan Lee Herrill's Obituary
Bryan Lee Herrill, 65, of Decatur, IL, passed away December 10, 2021 at his residence.
Bryan was born February 21, 1956, in Fort Polk, LA, the son of Keith and Constance (Moddy) Herrill.
Throughout Bryan's life he enjoyed hobbies like cooking, listening to music, and playing the guitar. He passed on these passions to his daughter. He treasured his time living on the coast of California where he worked for a period of time as a chef and a signage electrician. He had a captivating wit and charm with anyone he came in contact with. He loved to make people laugh and encouraged them to take life less seriously. His grandson, River, loved how well he could spin a basketball on his finger when they played together. He bonded with his granddaughter, Ellyana, through shared moments watching Undertale and other videos together. She described him this way... "He always lived life on his own terms".
Surviving are his daughter, Natasha Mell (Butch) of Oreana, IL; grandchildren, Ellyana Alderson and River Alderson, both of Oreana, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Mark Herrill.
Private services will be held at a later date.
