To a Special Family!! You ALL mean so much to me!! The memories are too numerous to list. So much love, support, friendship and FUN! Thank you for making me a part of your family that many years back. Phyllis and Barney have a special place in my heart. Thinking of them makes me smile. They both touched MANY lives! Barney drew people in with his love, bright light and a quick(sharp) wit!! They will be missed, but are back together with Mark. Brandon’s tribute was perfect with a personal touch and insight.

My grandfather was always there for my brother and I. More importantly, he made sure to let us know we were loved. He created a large, wonderful (and loud!) family for which he was devoted to for most of his long life. I often caught him looking around at all his kids and grandkids with a big grin on his face and a joke to tell. I am so lucky to have had him in my life for so long. I’ll miss him dearly but I know it’s his time for a well deserved rest and to be with those we lost too soon. Give them all a hug for me Grandad.

I had the pleasure of working for Barney the last two years at Rushwood Senior Living Community. He was the sweetest soul I have ever met. We spent our friendship talking about our time in the service, our family, hobbies and so much more! He became family very fast, met my children, and shared so much love. We are saddened to hear of my dear friend’s passing, but I am honored to have met him and call him a friend. Barney I will never forget you❤️
