Mr. C. L. Minor's Obituary
C.L .Minor, 92, of Decatur, IL passed away August 14, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
C.L. was born May 19, 1927 in Brownsville, TN, the son of Will and Mattie (Parker) Minor. He married Marie Jarrett on June 7, 1958 in Decatur, IL.
C.L. retired from The Herald –Review, where he had served as the building’s custodian.
He was a member of the Church of the Living God Temple #1. He enjoyed spending time fishing and was an avid Cubs Fan.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; son, Winston Jarrett; sister, Cibra Fox of Decatur, IL, brother Nathaniel Minor of Jackson, TN and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Guy Minor; sisters Virgie Palmer, and Arglia Hurn, Gessana Hudson.
Homegoing Celebration will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 23, 2019 at Church of the Living God Temple #1. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
