C. Edward Taylor, 82, of Tyler, TX, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away July 8, 2021 at his summer home in Ludington, MI.
Ed was born May 18, 1939 in Decatur, IL, the son of George E. and Georgiana (Fuller) Taylor. He married Eileen Harmon on June 15, 1963, in Decatur, IL. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Ed spent most of his life as manager in cemetery sales. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an overall outdoor sportsman. He also loved playing cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Thomas H. and grandson Stephen.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen; children, Matthew Taylor (Susana) of Guadalajara, Mexico, Thomas Taylor (Patricia) of Guadalajara, Mexico; Michelle Frey (David) of Van, TX; grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher, Jonathan, Georgianna, Savannah, Sierra and Sigourney.
Private services will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Star of Hope Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice Ludington, Mi.
