Helen, I just wanted you to know how sorry I was to find out Carl had passed. I enjoyed our visits when Carl and my father were together at Decatur Memorial and then at Life's Journey. During my youth Uncle Carl was nice enough to take me to Stephen Decatur Basketball and Football games. On occasion when a game was cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, Carl would buy me walkie talkies or an air rifle.Carl was an excellent photographer along with being a very good singer. In fact he actually had a couple songs recorded. During the Ice Storm of the late 50â??s along with many hours spent taking pictures of all the parks and Lake Decatur, Carlâ??s pictures were rated as tops in their category.Carlâ??s big smile and jovial attitude will be sorely missed. Thanks for the numerous memories Uncle Carl, we enjoyed the very happy experiences you provided throughout the years.Dan Morrison
