Carla and I were both born in 1961. Her mother and father are my God Parents! I remember visiting with their family a lot and playing with Carla and Kevin while growing up in Decatur. We were family cousins through my Mother Nelda Friese McCoy and Carla’s Mother Ellen Kruger Clark. Rest in Peace Carla with your Mother Ellen in Heaven! Carla worked as a traveling nurse and eventually landed in Florida. I moved to Alaska in 1985 from Illinois. Our Mother’s kept both of us informed of each others travels and adventures! In a way, we both had a zeal for the wanderlust adventures we sought out in God’s Great Creation! We may have been in opposite corners of the USA, but our family still brings us back to Illinois! Jesus saved us all from this world we live in and finally leave to be in glory with Him! I will miss you very much, Carla! My heart is both sad and glad that you are no longer suffering! The holidays are harder each year when we lose those that we love and cherish! My prayers are with Clifford and Kevin’s and Carla’s families! May God’s grace shine upon you and give you Peace!

Carla and I met when our girls played volleyball. Our families would enjoy the out of town tournaments together. Carla always made us laugh! She will be missed!
