Carmen Annette Shurig's Obituary
Carmen Annette Shurig, 67, of Mt. Zion, IL, died December 5, 2025, in her home. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Galilee Baptist Church.
Carmen was born on March 13, 1958, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Corwin and Carol (Renshaw) Bulla. She bred Yorkshire terriers and was a manager of retail places until she had to go on disability because of her deteriorating health.
She is survived by: her sister, Dianne (Kyle) Talley; brother, Bill Bulla; brother, Craig (Mary) Bulla; brother, Jason (Lynda) Bulla; lots of nieces and nephews; and a wonderful caregiver.
Her parents, one sister, and one nephew preceeded her in death.
Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Carmen.
