Carol Ann Anderson's Obituary
Carol Ann Anderson, 88, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away April 24, 2026, at Mt. Zion Health and Rehab Center.
Carol was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois, on July 17, 1937, the daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Evert) Meier. She married Donald J. Anderson on April 24, 1976, in Chicago. They enjoyed over 37 years together until his death in 2009.
Carol worked as an assembler for GE. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Moweaqua. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and enjoyed gardening in her spare time.
Carol is survived by her daughters Cynthia (Mike) Eversole and Pamela Robison; sister Patty Krysaik; grandson Craig Otta; grandchildren Cassandra Lynch, Karleigh Cummings, Isabel Otta, and Adria Otta; and several nieces and nephews, including Sandy Bandimere. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Diane.
