Carol Ann Batson's Obituary
Carol Ann “Annie” Batson went to Heaven on Easter Sunday in the early afternoon, having received Jesus as her personal Saviour when she was a teenager.
Annie was born on June 12th, 1951, to Walter and Mildred Batson (Baker), who preceded her in death. Annie was also preceded in death by two older brothers and a sister-in-law, Darrell and Avis Batson, and Charles “Charlie” Batson. She is survived by an older sister Jeanne “Jeannie” Miller and younger brother Gary Batson, cousin Clay Schmahl and wife Sheila and family, and 3 generations of nieces and nephews.
We wish to thank Sullivan Rehab for caring for Annie at the last. Her graveside service will be on Friday, April 10th at 2 pm at Fairlawn Cemetery in Decatur, IL.
