Carol Finley, 76, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Carle Hospital in Urbana. Carol was born March 21, 1943, in Decatur, the daughter of Harold and Virginia (Blank) Allison. Surviving is her father, Harold (Norma) Read Obituary
Carol will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was such a kind person and would help anyone who needed it. I will miss her wonderful smile and laughter. She meant the world to me since I first met her years ago when she married my brother, Russell. Now you are together again in heaven.

All of the ‘gang’ at Gabby’s will miss her; just keep looking for her to drive in, then walk in for coffee. Also, we wonder who is going to set/fix the clock at Gabby’s now and who will assist everyone on their cell phones and tablets. She was always a ‘day brightener’ to all and ready to help anyone who needed it. Get your coffee group started in Heaven, Carol. Aunt Carol, was like a Second Mom on weekends to me. I spend every weekend at her house spending time with my cousins and working at The Donut shop (Spudnuts).

Sorry to here about this spent a lot of time with her when she ran the donut shop in Decatur. My mom and dad were in there all the time Charlie and Lorene Cribbs .
Carol was a big part of my life in my early 20?s. House of donut days. She was more than a Boss to me .My sympathy to her family
FAMILY – Carol was always so friendly and very helpful to anyone who needed help. I will miss her as will all of her friends from Gabby’s at our ‘coffee/breakfast club’.
