Carolyn Sue Fulk's Obituary
Decatur – Carolyn Sue Fulk, 74, of Decatur, IL, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019.
Sue was born August 31, 1944, in Decatur, the daughter of William Henry and Bertha Mae (Ewing) Flesch. An avid Cub fan, Sue worked as a waitress at Country Cupboard and Downtown Café for many years. She married Jan Alexander and they had six children. Sue then married James A. Fulk on March 29, 1988 and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2009.
Sue always cherished Sunday dinners and holidays with her family.
Surviving are her children: Angie Cooper, Becky Alexander, Jeff Alexander, Rhonda (Kelsie) Keller, Christy Alexander, Lanny Alexander, and Brandon Vandenburg all of Decatur, Summer (Zach) Young of KY; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, 2 sisters, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson Zachary.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm, Monday, July 15, 2019, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Services to celebrate her life will be 10 am Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
