Carolyn Kirby's Obituary
Carolyn Mae Kirby, 76, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 8:40 P.M. on Sunday (01-14-2024) at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Carolyn was born on March 11, 1947, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Robert Belke and Sylvia Faye (Cowger) Belke. She married Kent Lyle Kirby on May 8, 1985. They were married for almost 39 years.
She is survived by her husband Kent Lyle Kirby of Decatur, IL; children: Christina Maltby of CA, Brian Maltby and wife Leesa of Murietta, CA, and Brad Maltby of Las Vegas, NV; stepchildren: James Kirby of LaFayette, IN, Scott Kirby of Charlotte, NC, Todd Kirby and wife Shannon of Springfield, KY; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday (01-19-2024) at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. A Graveside service will follow the funeral at Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL.
