Carolyn Kay Stiles' Obituary
Carolyn Kay Stiles, 71, of Jerseyville, formerly of Decatur, went to be home with the Lord on June 23, 2018.
Carolyn was born November 27, 1946, in Decatur, to Lawrence and Elnora (Runion) Stiles. She was a former employee of Federal Kemper Insurance Company. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and sewing. Carolyn sewed many dresses with matching doll clothes for her nieces and crocheted baby blankets for each new member of the family.
She is survived by her brother, Edwin Stiles of Jerseyville; sisters, Melba Worthey of Port Richey, FL and Ellen (Alan) Boyer of Decatur; nephew, Tyler (Holly) Boyer of Republic Missouri; nieces, Lesa (John) Gettings of Jerseyville and Kathleen (Jonathan) Mohler of Arlington, Texas; great-nephews and nieces, Ryan (Jody), Chad, Brookelyn, John, Nora, Abigail, Anna and Gabriel; and great-great-nephews, Johnathan and Lyndon.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Carolyn Stiles will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Illinois Valley Economic Development Center – (Senior Citizen Center) 806 East Franklin Avenue, Jerseyville, IL 62052.
