Happy Birthday Mom. I still can't comprehend that I can't just pick up the phone and call you and say it. I want to hear you laugh and play it off like its just another day, like you'd always do. I want to come over and have lunch with you and then feel bad for having to leave because I could tell you wanted me to stay but would never say it. I know the very last thing you want is for me to be struggling so please help me if you can. Everyone says it will get better but it feels worse the further away time takes me from you. I love you and I hope you can still feel that and please know that its not your fault I am having such a hard time, I just miss you and that will never change. Happy birthday, I wish I was there to celebrate with you Mom.

I love you and just wish you were here today Mom. This is hard but doing my best to hang in there and be as tough as you always were. Tall task.
