Charles "Chuck" Douglas Brown's Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Douglas Brown, 57, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Fair Havens Senior Living Center.
Chuck was born October 19, 1962, in Decatur, to Elmer Dale and Alice Mae (Coleman) Brown. He was a semi-truck driver for over 30 years and loved every minute of it. He married the love of his life Tyrone Woodson Barnard on February 14, 2019.
He is survived by his husband, Tyrone; his sister, Connie (Jim) Hackert; his brother, Michael D. Brown; his step-mother, Pauline Brown; his mother-in-law, Jan Barnard; his sister-in-law, Crissy Barnard; four nieces and one nephew; and his dog, Gracie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Chuck Brown will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home 2801 North Monroe Street, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
