Charles Henry Faith Jr.'s Obituary
Charles Henry Faith, Jr., 93, of Decatur, passed away March 4, 2022 in his home.
Charles was born in Decatur on February 5, 1929, the son of Charles and Rose (Tauche) Faith, Sr. After high school graduation he served proudly in the United States Navy during World War II. He later worked as a service manager for Culligan Water. He married Vivian Adams on May 27, 1955 in Champaign, Illinois. Charles was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, hunting, miniature golf, working in the yard, and piddling around the house.
Charles is survived by his daughters Terri (William) Hutchins of Decatur, Denise Huddleston of West Allis, Wisconsin, and Sandy (Clifford) Majors of Palmetto, Florida; brothers Jack R. Faith and Carl Yaegel, and sister Charlotte Houston; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter Carol Daugherty.
Funeral services will be held at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, followed by the service at 11:00am. Burial in Graceland Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be directed to Memorial Hospice. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
