Charles R. Hall's Obituary
Charles R. Hall, 85, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Charles was born February 16, 1929 in Decatur, IL, the son of John H. and Harriet (Green) Hall.
He proudly served for his county in the United States Army. In his spare time Charles loved cooking and baking food in his kitchen, and reading his Bible.
Charles leaves behind his sisters, Wilma Davis of Decatur; Margie Hall of Decatur; Mabel Harris of Mount Pulaski, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack, Donald, and Herbert Hall; and sisters, Bertha Hall and Anna Mae Long.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Charles will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Charles may be made to the family.
