I was sad to hear of Charlie's passing. I didn't know him well. He was a friend of a friend but I did share a table at several GSL meetings and an outing or two at the Dewitt County Sportsman Club. The name Charlie is a diminutive of the English name Charles, meaning "free man" and Charlie is now free from pain and is in a happier place. Rest in piece Charlie.

Frank and I were shocked when I opened the paper Tuesday night. I'm sorry we didn't make it to the visitation. By the time we seen it in the paper it was late Tuesday night. Charlie was a really wonderful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

So sorry to hear about Charlie. He was such a good person, always willing to help anyone if they needed it. . I miss him working on my car and he always helped Rolland keep his properties maintained, Again thanks for having such a good person as your husband. He will be truly, truly missed.
