Charles W. “Chuck” Perry passed away at his home in Decatur on Monday, April 2, 2012.
He was born July 30, 1930 in Pomona, California the son of Charles I. & Viola (Davisson) Perry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Norma Jean Perry and Betty Naanes; brothers Wayne and Albert Perry.
He is survived by sister, Gloria Levitt of Champaign; brother, David Perry of Huachuca City, Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He left home, a young man, and worked for various farmers in this area. He has lived in the Villa Grove and Decatur area most of his adult life. He was the owner of Chuck’s TV & Appliance in Villa Grove and worked for Paul's Plumbing and Heating and later at Charles Industry in Rantoul. He loved working on stock cars
Visitation will be held at the Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
