Charles Pugh's Obituary
Charlie Pugh departed this life on Wednesday, April 19, 2023; he was a loving brother and father who passed away at the age of 80.
Charlie entered this life on September 29, 1942, to the late Isiah Pugh and Mattie (Cliff) Williams, loving stepfather Clyde William of Brownville, TN.
He leaves to cherish his memory Charlie Pugh, Jr, Mary (Terance) Lyes, Ray (Jamie) Pugh, all of Carbondale, IL; Marco Pugh, Mary Ann Taylor, Godson Michael Shoot, all of Brownville, TN; bother, Clyde Williams, Jr. of Decatur, IL; sister, Carolyn (James) Topps of Atlanta, GA; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends as well as two very special friends in Charlie’s life are Tommy Wilder and Gene Wilder.
Charlie was preceded in death by parents Isiah Pugh, Mattie (Cliff) Williams, stepfather, Clyde Williams; son, James "Wimp" Pugh; four brothers; Isiah Pugh, James Pugh, Morris Williams and Willie D. Williams.
A graveside service will be held for Charlie on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 1pm at Fairlawn Cemetery.
