Decatur- Charles A. Schnepper, 89 of Decatur, passed away at 1:20 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in McKinley Court.
Services to celebrate Charles' life will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Charles was born November 14, 1920 in Boody, the son of Albert E. and Marie (Staab) Schnepper. He was previously employed at Caterpillar retiring after thirty years of service. Prior to Caterpillar he was a television repair man for Emerson. He enjoyed hunting, skeet shooting, and trap shooting. He was a lifetime member of the Warrensburg Sportsman's Club. He married Jeanette Wendling May 2, 1952.
He leaves behind his wife Jeanette, daughter Carol Schnepper of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sister Mildred Beckmeyier of Decatur, and several nieces and nephews.
He was reunited in heaven with his parents.
