Charlotte E. Kleine's Obituary
Decatur-Charlotte E. Kleine, 82, of Bloomington, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Bromenn Hospital in Normal, Illinois.
A graveside service for Charlotte will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at First Lutheran Church in Decatur, Illinois. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Susan G. Koman Foundation or charity of the donor’s choice. Charlotte was born November, 2, 1928 in Decatur, Illinois the daughter of Lawrence and Cora (Trost) Weaver. Charlotte loved to travel abroad especially to Australia, the Netherlands, and to the United Kingdom. Charlotte worked for many years in Dr. Crew and Dr. Rubel’s medical offices comforting and tending to her patients needs. She married Richard “Dick” Schultz November 9, 1946 he preceded her in death August, 1995. She married Wilfred “Bill” Kleine November 16, 1968 and moved to Vincennes, Indiana where she lived for 39 years, he preceded her in death March 28, 1978.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory are, son; Larry Schultz and wife Annette of Bloomington, brother; Lawrence Weaver and wife Sharlene of Decatur, grandchildren; Laura Schultz, Jason Schultz, and Justin Schultz, step-grandchildren; Shawn Snyder, Colin Snyder, and Blake Snyder, 2 great-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, and both husbands.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many dear friends in Decatur and in Vincennes.
