Charlotte Ann Taylor's Obituary
Charlotte Ann (Pruitt) Taylor, 87, of Forsyth, Illinois, passed away January 22, 2024, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Charlotte was born in Bement, Illinois, on June 16, 1936, the daughter of Cleve and Myrtle (Ammons) Pruitt. She married Robert (Bobby) B. Taylor on July 9, 1958, and they shared 54 wonderful years together until his death in 2013.
Charlotte graduated from Cerro Gordo High School. She was a retired nurse who loved gardening and spending the winters in Palm Springs, California with her husband. She shared a special bond with her stepson and loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Charlotte is survived by her stepson Stan Taylor and wife Jayne of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; grandson Brian Taylor and partner Thomas Renner of Edgewater, Florida; grandson Brent Taylor and partner Shauna Linville of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; and great-grandchildren Logan Taylor and Laurel Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby, her parents, 6 brothers, and 5 sisters.

A graveside service for Charlotte will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, January 31, in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
