Christina Marie Morris' Obituary
Decatur-Christina Marie Morris, 33, of Decatur passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at her home with her loving parents by her side.
A service to celebrate the life of Christina will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home Pastor John Laux will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 3-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Macon Resources. Christina was born June 7, 1977 in Decatur, Illinois the daughter of David and Bonnie (Bethard) Morris. Christina graduated from Sunnyside School in 1998, one of the last classes to benefit from the wonderful services and atmosphere that helped her flourish. After Sunnyside, she spent her days at Macon Resources in the care of many great people who encouraged and challenged her and always gave her love and respect. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Decatur. Chrissy faced many obstacles in her life but she was always happy and smiling. She loved being around people, being called pretty girl and loved being the center of attention. She loved funny noises that made her laugh, great big hugs and butterfly kisses.

Christina was greeted into Heaven by her maternal grandmother; Luella Bethard, paternal grandparents; Junior & Rosemary Woodard-Morris.
Chrissy’s spirit was released from a body that held her captive, into the glory of her Heavenly Father.
