Claddie L. Graves' Obituary
On Monday, February 9, 2015, our guardian angel was given her wings to Glory when Claddie Graves, 71, went to be with the Lord .
A visitation to celebrate Claddie’s life will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home.
Claddie was born October 14, 1943 in Ashport, TN, the daughter of James Richard and Charslie (Body) Barbee. Her greatest joy in life was spending precious time with all of her family. She will truly be missed.
Claddie leaves behind her sons, Michael (Beverly) West; Paul (Annette) Graves; Roy (Lola Mae) Graves, Jr.; Jimmy (Ella) Graves; daughters, Beverly (special friend Claude) Barbee; Norvella (Barry) Brady; Marilyn Graves; Angela Graves; Mary (Larry) Graves; Bertha Graves; special daughter, Joyce Perry; brothers, James (Margaret) Barbee; Robert (Lorretta) Barbee; Thomas Barbee; Keever (Daphne) Barbee; sisters, Ocie B. Barbee; Stella (William) Shaw; Anella (Arthur) Fakes; aunts, Mattie Graves; Harriet Barbee; special niece, Tanisha (Taurus) Young; 21 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is reunited in Heaven with her parents, two sons, one daughter, and three grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Atluri, Dr. Dove, and the staff at DMH Lung Center and DMH Cancer Care for all their compassion and care.
