Clarence Eugene Gordon's Obituary
Clarence Eugene Gordon, 70, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away December 25, 2024, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Clarence was born in Decatur on April 22, 1954, the son of Clarence and Shirley (Young) Gordon. He was an operator/maintenance worker for AE Staley. He was a past member of West Side Church of the Nazarene. Clarence was an avid collector of baseball cards. He enjoyed spending time fishing and watching westerns.
Clarence is survived by his children Gina (James) Bradshaw of Decatur, Joshua (Sarah) Gordon of Decatur, and David (Shawna) Gordon of Decatur; brother Mark “Steve” (Barb) Gordon of Decatur; grandchildren Adam Gordon, Aaron Gordon, Dava Cartee, Autumn Gordon, Laya Gordon, and Brayden Hutchins; and nieces and nephews Jamie, Jarrod, and Sharayah. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mike Gordon, sister Pam Kidd, and nephew Brian Gordon.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in Graceland Cemetery.
