The picture is from Mom and Dad's 61st Anniversary at Longhorn Steakhouse on Dec 8, 2013.I must have had 100's of steaks with my Dad over the years but I won't forget my last Steak Dinner with Dad this past December. My Dad believed that you had to recognize special moments with a steak dinner . . .otherwise it really wasn't appropriately celebrated. When I found out I was offered my job in New York, I called Dad to tell him. The first thing he said was "Well that's great. I want you to go out and have a steak on me!" He loved doing that just as much as I enjoyed the steak!
