Constance Sue "Connie" Carroll-French's Obituary
Constance Sue “Connie” Carroll-French, 81, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away October 12, 2019 at The Loft, Normal, IL.
Connie was born October 4, 1938 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Paul E. and Dorothy A. (Burns) Carroll. She married Gary French on May 23, 1998 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death.
Connie was a member of Woodland Chapel Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed singing and attending Bible study groups.
Surviving are her children Paul Nixon (Tina) of Mt. Zion, IL, Michelle Smith (Rev. Todd Smith) of Mint Hill, NC and, step-daughter, Elizabeth Derosa (Patrick) of Normal, IL; grandchildren, Matthew Nixon (Audrey), Luke Nixon, Andrew Smith, Benjamin Smith; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Levi Nixon.
Memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday October 27, 2019 at Spirit of Life Church, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be from 2 – 3 PM Sunday at the church. Officiating will be Rev. Todd Smith and Pastor Doug Rudow.
