Decatur – Curt G. Chatham, 57, of Decatur, passed away at 3:32 pm Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
 
Services to celebrate Curt’s life will be held at 11:00 Monday, March 29, 2010 at New Beginnings Church of God with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. The family request casual attire. Interment with the “Flight Home” Ceremony will be at Point Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to New Beginnings Church of God. Curt was born July 25, 1952, the son of Donald and Edna (Smith) Helm.
 He married Bonnie Parker on March 3, 2006 in Decatur.
 
He will be sadly missed by his wife Bonnie, one son: Todd Chatham of Nashville, Tennessee, one step-son: Jeff Parker of Decatur, one step-daughter: Mary Parker of Decatur, two brothers: Dennis (Erma) Chatham of Decatur and Rick Chatham of Decatur, nieces: Kristie (Scott) Crawford and Pennie (Jeff) Rhodes and their children, all of Decatur, Bonnie’s mother, brother, sisters, and their families, and four step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews from previous marriage.
 
He was reunited in Heaven with his mother.
