Dale E. Adams' Obituary
Decatur-Dale E. Adams, 81, of Decatur, passed away at 5:25 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at his residence with his family by his side.
Memorial visitation to celebrate Dale's life will be 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. The 'Flight Home' Ceremony will conclude the service. Dale was born October 7, 1928 in Cisco, the son of Lynn and Harriett (Sturgeon) Adams. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W.II. He was previously employed at Sunshine Dairy, Superior Welding, and the Warrensburg-Latham School District. Dale was an avid motorcycle rider. He married Lyn Downing May 4, 1969.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Lyn, sons; Dale Adams of Mt. Zion and Richard Adams and wife Suzy of Decatur, daughters; Helen Miller and husband Edward of Parrish, Florida, Dee Landin of Decatur, Hayley Adams of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Dani Knackmuhs of Decatur, grandchildren; Michael, Brittni, Colin, and Holly, and great-grandson Matthew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Pauline Hosier, two brothers, and one sister.
