Dana Woolsey's Obituary
Dana Machelle Woolsey, 72, of Decatur, Il passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 with her family at her bedside.
Dana was born March 23, 1948 in Decatur, Il the daughter of William and Phyllis (Stone) Fitzgerald. On March 4, 1967 she married Kenneth Woolsey in Decatur, IL.
Dana was a 1966 graduate of Lakeview High Schoo. She soon became employed at J.L. Simmons Construction as an Accounting/Payroll Clerk and then became partial owner until 1991.
Dana then became employed at HBHC until 2020retiring due to her health from Oasis Day Center.
Dana was very caring and giving with a heart of gold. She loved helping others and wanted the best for everyone. Dana loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter, Kendra(Toppie Warnsley; her special grandchildren, Dominique, Cameron, McKenzi, Wynter, Stefan and Latoya; 13 great grandchildren and special nephew Chad Woolsey and family in Terra Haute, IN and Michigan
Special Friends: Jeff Mueller, Danica Trimby, Verna Peters, Kathy Bourne and Tiffani Baum.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hickory Point Christian Village, Harbor Lights Hospice, Dr. Khan and Dr. Yoon.
