Dan was my high school typing instructor for a semester, and his speed typing tips were invaluable (I still live by them). His class was fun. Even more valuable was how he exemplified leadership through authenticity, humility, & humor. I wasn’t aware he passed on, but he’s missed and his lessons live on.

I’m so sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. Dan and Theresa were the first people I met when moving into 468 Wright Hall at Illinois State my freshman year. Dan was my roommate. Truly a great guy. I’ve thought of him often but lost touch with him years ago. I’m sure his passing has left a void in the lives and of many. RIP Dan, aka “Boone”.
Dan was always the super fan. Cheering on kids, teams. Always brought the best tailgate to the Illini games full spreads and fully stocked bar. Such a loving family man. He loved god and country. He will be missed. Mike and Karen Gagnon❤️
Dan and Theresa were in Amway with Diane and I. Kind, ready with a smile and always lifting our spirits. I am sure that Dan will be greatly missed by his family and all those whose hearts he touched.
