Binge, Darlene's Obituary
Darlene Binge, 67, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away May 17, 2025.
Darlene was born in Decatur, on April 20, 1958, the daughter of George and Eva (Washburn) Morgan. She married Doug Binge on August 28, 2006, in Decatur.
Darlene was a Licensed Practical Nurse who later found a calling as a conductor for the Norfolk Southern Railroad. She excelled at both of her long-time careers. She was someone who cared deeply for animals, including her horse, her beloved dog Juice, and countless chickens and goats on the Double D Goat Farm she shared with her husband. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Darlene is survived by her husband Doug; sons Zachary Greene and Lucas Greene; stepdaughter Tina Nicole “Nikki” (Jerry) McKee; sister Sharlene (Art) Hemmerlein; grandchildren Jack Greene, Demi Greene, and Faith McKee; and nieces/nephews Raychelle Morgan, Kandace Smith, Teta Morgan, Caleb Hemmerlein, and Lacey Rhea. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Donald Morgan and Gary Morgan.
In honor of Darlene’s wishes, no services will be held. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com
