David E. Colclasure's Obituary
David E. Colclasure, 73, of (Appleville) rural Mount Auburn, IL, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
David was born May 3, 1942 in Moweaqua, IL, the son of Herman and Beulah (Jennings) Colclasure. David proudly served for his country in the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed being outdoors, woodworking, being with family, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
David leaves behind his daughters, Penny Bolyard and fiancé Tim Robertson of Lockport, IL; Deborah Pulliam and husband Clint of rural Mount Auburn, IL; brothers Herman D. Colclasure and wife Joan of Xenia, IL; Scott Colclasure of Iuka, IL; sister Beverly Pickens and husband Leon of Wathena, KS; grandchildren, Mathu David Colclasure-Bolyard and fiancé Chelsea Maxey of Decatur, IL; Katie Robertson of Plainfield, IL; Evan Pulliam of rural Mount Auburn, IL; Ava Pulliam of rural Mount Auburn, IL; and great-grandchildren Izzabella Bolyard of Mount Zion, IL, and Lydia Bolyard of Decatur, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cheryl Gene Colclasure; and infant son, Mark David Colclasure.
Per David’s request, only private family services will be held at a later date.
