David Deaton's Obituary
David L. Deaton, 69, of Decatur, IL passed away peacefully at his residence on February 20, 2019.
David was born March 22, 1949 in Decatur, IL, the son of Ernest D. and Delena (Fredricks) Deaton. David was a veteran of the US Navy. He married LaAnda Ditty October 27, 1973 in Mt. Zion, IL. David was a tire builder for Firestone.
Surviving are his wife, LaAnda; son, Derrick Deaton (Nick Burge) of Bloomington, IL; sister, Debra Deaton of Decatur, IL; sister-in-law Patty Jackson (Todd) of Mt. Zion, IL; brother-in-law, Bill Ditty (Carmen) of Mt. Zion, IL and Steve Ditty of Decatur, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronald Deaton, Randy Deaton and sister, Cindy Deaton.
Cremation services will be provided by Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Per David’s request there will be no services scheduled.
