Let me just correct my precious memory. Grandpa let me being home a cat, not a car. Either way I think he would have still been in trouble with mom.
What I remember most about grandpa is early mornings with jelly filled and tiger tail donuts as a child, the countless times he and my mom and Tony would work or home projects together, and the best cat I could have ever asked for that he let me bring home from the school bonfire even though he knew mom would be against it.I'm regretful of the distance created between us as I grew older and can only hope that one day I'll be able to make up for that.I pray we make you proud everyday grandpa. Until we can catch up keep my seat warm. All my love.
Fritzy was a very special person in my life. I am married to Shelly and there was no doubt how they felt about each other and the closeness they shared. I thought the world of Fritz and when I asked for his assistance years ago to help on a project at my daughters house, he didn't hesitate. He was a man of many skills and finally after battling all of his woes, he left us with a lot of loving memories. I am going to miss my friend & uncle.
Uncle Fritzy will be missed very much. Knowing he is no longer in pain, or frustrated because of his condition makes the hurt ease up little by little. I will never forget his jokes, his stories (ones you never knew if they were true or made up), his smile, his love for his family. I am gonna miss hearing "love ya kid" after each phone call, him sitting at his kitchen table smoking his cigarettes, drinking his soda out of his 2 liter bottle or his coffee loaded with cream and sugar. There is a huge Klein reunion going on up in heaven and now when I hear thunder I will know it is Uncle Fritz and Uncle OJ getting into trouble all over again. My Uncle, Godfather & Buddy has left us but I know he is watching over all of his loved ones. He was a fighter even at the end but his gloves came off and it is now time to rest. Uncle Fritz, may you rest in peace and know that you will be missed by many. You always had a smile on your face which I am sure stretches from ear to ear as you are reunited with all our family members that have passed before us and I pray you continue to smile down on your family that still trudges along this path we call life.Until we meet again – Steve
