David R. Collins' Obituary
David R. Collins, 80 of Decatur passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Decatur Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
David was born on October 18, 1934 in Parsons, KS the son of Richard R. and Celeste (Volmer) Collins. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He married Norma Baker on August 1, 1964 in Henryetta, OK.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Norma; sons, Stephen Collins (Tracy) and Terrence Collins (Jenny); daughters, Pamela Montague (Rodney) and Kathleen Thompson (Chris); grandchildren, Matthew Montague (Codi), Andrew Montague (Phallen), Joshua Montague, Adam Collins, Zachary Collins, Samantha Collins, Emma Collins, Megan Thompson, Sophia Thompson, Emilee Rose Collins, and Braeden Collins; great-grandchildren, Matthew Montague Jr., Madilyn Montague, and Adeline Montague
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, and a granddaughter, Amber Montague.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday, February 13, 2015 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Weltin as Celebrant. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Friday in the church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Lourdes School.
