David Bennett Stull's Obituary
David Bennett Stull, 62, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
David was born on September 14, 1958 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Robert and Lomonia (Hill) Stull. He worked as a laborer in construction. David enjoyed gardening and tinkering with things, trying to figure out how they worked. He was an enthusiastic Cub fan. He loved animals, especially his dog Pepe LePew.
David is survived by his siblings: Mike (Kathie) Stull of Decatur, Allen “Butch” (Sandy) Stull of Decatur, Deb (Eric) Kelly of California, Danny “Boone” Stull of Decatur, Kathy “Kate” Stull of Decatur, Jackie Bonn of Decatur, and Lomonia “Dee” (Darrell) Eldred of Argenta; special friend Carolyn Peck, along with her children Carrie and Vinny and her grandchildren Candice, Dalton, and Mark Jr.; three aunts; one uncle; and dozens of nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Victor Wade Barger.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, August 6 at Graceland Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
